A total of 18 participants including their lecturer, Miss Juliana Aminah Marhaban came for an 3 hours educational visit at Eartistic in Shah Alam branch. The objective of the visit is to give the students an exposure on private clinical setting.
The session started at 3.00pm with the introduction on Eartistic by Dr Shasa 'Ain Abdul Aziz, the CEO of Eartistic Sdn Bhd. The students also were given a brief explanation on the roles of audiologist and the insight of being a good audiologist. Dr Shasa had also shared her experiences audiological field and how she started the business. They had been quite participative by asking questions at the end of the session.

The students were then brought for a tour around Eartistic and been introduced to the Eartistic staffs for Shah Alam branch. They visited the ear mould lab where all the hearing aid services are done by lab technician. They seemed very excited to observe the lab and all the high technology equipments used to make an ear mould and repair the hearing aids.
The session were continued by Sonic presentation and hands-on session using Bellman an & Symfon products by our audiologists. It is very interactive session with the students actively asking question throughout the session and tried out the products themselves.

The vestibular session was conducted by Dr Shasa which she demonstrated few vestibular assesments that been practiced in the clinic such as the modified Dix-Hall pike and Gans Sensory Organization Performance (SOP).

The session ended up with some refreshments and token of appreciation as remembrance of this amazing educational visit. It is hope that this visit will be beneficial for the students and will come again in future to share more experiences with us and create more memories together.
