Hearing Protection

The method of preventing occupational deafness in workplaces.

According to Noise exposure guidelines by NIOSH, workers should wear hearing protectors such as ear plugs or ear muffs to reduce amount of noise reaching the ears. Workers should wear a hearing protector if the noise or sound level at the workplace exceeds 85 decibels (dBA)

In controlling  recreational noise exposure ,you should be aware that it should not be too loud for extended period of time. Listening to music through earphone or speaker is very popular but there are other recreational activities which may also produce excessive loud sound such as in motor sports ,firearms shooting and even using home appliances and baby toys.

For whatever reasons you have to be in a noisy environment , noise filters in shape of custom earmould can be a good option to help reduce harmful noise reaching your ears.
